In rural Damascus — particularly Eastern Ghouta and Qalamoun — we are preparing to launch a beekeeping program aimed at empowering families facing difficult living conditions and unemployed youth. Through the establishment of fully equipped apiaries, the project will offer a stable source of income and a renewed sense of purpose. The program will provide hands-on training, technical support, and access to local markets for natural honey products, enabling participants to build their own small-scale businesses using simple tools and accessible knowledge. Beyond its economic impact, beekeeping plays a vital environmental role. This initiative is expected to contribute to biodiversity, food security, and the Sustainable Development Goals by creating jobs, reducing aid dependency, and promoting ecological balance. We don’t promise more than what’s possible — but we believe that when knowledge is placed in the hands of those who need it most, it opens a real path toward dignity, independence, and a better future
Experience: We have a training course, though it’s preferable to have a previous experience in dealing with bees and carrying honey in a clean, sanitized state
